Falkland Trail Runners - Where we meet.

Main Club Sessions - Village Car Park, Falkland, Fife.
Thursdays 6:30pm (technical training)
Sundays 9:30am (club runs)

We’re based at the Community Hall in Falkland.

Make your way to the village of Falkland - it’s on the A912 from Glenrothes/Cupar to Perth. Falkland Palace is one of Fife’s main tourist attractions and is well signposted.

When you get to Falkland, turn into the main street (East Port), which is where you can find Falkland Palace.

Pass the palace on your right, and continue up the street until you see the Bruce Fountain (in the middle of the square).

Just before the fountain, there is a narrow road to the left. There's a big "P" (parking) sign, and there's a chash machine on the corner. Take that road - is very narrow, so please take care.

In about 100 metres, the entrance to the car park is on your left. Go into the car park. The Community Hall is in the middle of the parking area.

The following sessions are not offically organised by the club. Most of those who attend are club members and they are normally led by club coaches.

Weekly 5k Sessions - Duck Pond, Falkland Estate, Fife.
Tuesdays 6:30pm

We meet at the duck pond car pak at the main entrance to Falkland Estate.

Make your way to Falkland as above. Instead of turning left at the fountain towards the village car park, carry straight on.

Head up the narrow street at the left side of the shops (take care - this is VERY narrow). When the road bends left, you will see a street to the right (signposted Cricket Club). Take that turn, taking care in case anyone is coming down the hill. This street takes you to Falkland Estate.

As you enter the estate gates, there is a lodge house to the left. In approx. 50 metres, turn right into the car park.

"Hammer Time" Sessions - Balbirnie Park, Glenrothes, Fife.
Tuesdays 6:30pm

We meet in Balbirnie Park, just outside Markinch.

Make your way to Glenrothes. From the north, you will enter the town on the A92. At the end of the dual carriageway, the road bends left and you come to a roundabout. Turn left at that roundabout (signposted Markinch).

From all other directions, pass through Glenrothes until you come to the A92 on the east of the town. Head north (signposted Dundee) unti you come to a dip in the road followed by a roundabout. Turn right at that roundabout (signposted Markinch).

From the roundabout, follow the road towards Markinch for approx 0.6 miles and turn in to Balbirnie Park.
